PURPOSE:To surely and easily correct the positions of a plurality of heads at any time and to keep good printing quality. CONSTITUTION:The positions of printing dots due to a plurality of heads 12Y, 12M, 12C having ink jet nozzles 11Y, 11M, 11C are detected by a printing position detecting means 14 composed of a CCD and an operation part judges the displacement between the respective heads 12Y, 12M, 12C on the basis of the detection data and head moving means 13Y, 13M, 13C are operated by a drive part to move the heads 12Y, 12M, 12C to correct the positions of the heads and the printing shift of respective colors is prevented. |
