<p>PURPOSE:To provide an elevating device which can immediately stop an elevating part at a lowered position without a lock mechanism for fixing the elevating part which has reached the lowered position. CONSTITUTION:In an elevating device having a base 2 for micro film reader/ printer and a sheet conveying part 17 provided in capable of rotation and elevation around a support shaft 18 between a fixed position set at the base 2 and a lowered position below the fixed position and provided with a damping means for absorbing kinetic energy generated by gravity at lowering of the sheet conveying part 17, the damping means is a piston damper 26 for absorbing the kinetic energy with viscous resistance of fluid.</p> |
