PURPOSE:To reduce the internal resistance of a capacitor cell by a method wherein an acetylene black powder body is used as a conductive agent and the mixing ratio of this acetylene black powder body is set at a prescribed wt.%. CONSTITUTION:An acethylene black power body having a mean particle diameter of 400 Angstroms is mixed in an active carbon powder body having a mean particle diameter of 40mum as a conductive agent. An electrode material with 3wt.% of a tetraflueroethylene mixed therein as a binding agent along with this mixture is prepared and a polarized electrode 5 formed by molding this electrode material into the form of a pellet of a prescribed size is thermally pressure bonded on a conductive film 1 pressure bonded on a metal plat 2 to manufacture a capacitor. When the mixing ratio of the acethylene black powder body is set at 15wt.% or more, the internal resistance of a capacitor cell is decreased to 70% or thereabouts of that in the case where the acetylene black powder body is not contained at all. As a result, in the discharge of a high rate of a current density of 0.50A/cm<2>, the improvement of capacitance characteristics is remarkedly recognized in the capacitor mixed with the acethylene black powder body in an extent of 15 to 50wt.%. |
