PURPOSE:To store or transmit only the page of a correctted or altered part of a source document by single easy operation by an operator. CONSTITUTION:A control part 5 after altering part of the document, stored in a document data storage buffer 6, in an editing buffer 7 according to operator's indications from a keyboard 1, puts the data back in the document data storage buffer 6 and also writes page information on the altered document part in an alteration table 4. Then a page information copying device 3 reads the altered document part out of the document data storage buffer 6 in page units according to the page information in the alteration table 4 and stores it in an altered document data storage buffer 8 through the editing buffer 7. Then when a storage indication for only the altered document part is inputted on the keyboard 1, the control part 5 reads the altered document part out of the altered document data storage buffer 8 and sends it to an external storage device 10 through a file controller 9, so that only the altered document part is saved. |
