发明名称 MATERIAL TO BE RECORDED OF SUBLIMATION TYPE THERMAL TRANSFER MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a material to be recorded imparting a recording image excellent in light fastness and extremely reduced in fading and discoloration due to light by forming an image receiving layer composed of a resin compsn. containing a compd. represented by a specific general formula on the surface of a base material. CONSTITUTION:A resin easily dyed with a sublimable dye such as cellulosic resin, a vinyl resin or an acrylate resin is dissolved in a solvent such as ethyl alcohol and a predetermined amount of a phenol compd. represented by formula I (wherein R is a 1-20C alkyl group and A is a substituted or non-substituted phenylene or naphthylene group) is added to the resulting solution to be dispersed therein to prepare a coating solution for an image receiving layer. This coating solution is applied to a base material such as a plastic film or printing paper and dried to form the image receiving layer to obtain a material to be recorded of a sublimation type thermal transfer recording system. An ultraviolet absorber or a hindered amine type light stabilizer can be further added to the image receiving layer in order to further enhance the light fastness of the image receiving layer.
