PURPOSE:To obtain the oxide magnetic material such as an Mn-Zn ferrite sintered body and the like having excellent insulating property in the specific high frequency range or higher range. CONSTITUTION:An organic high molecular film, which is grown on the surface of an Mn-Zn sintered body by the plasma polymerization reaction of an organic substance, can be formed on the surface of the sintered body through the intermediary of an intermediate layer consisting of a functional group which can be interacted chemically and physically. This magnetic material is formed as follows: after a film has been formed on the surface sintered body by plasma polymerization reaction through of the sintered body while a glow discharge is being conducted under the presence of organic substance vapor, the film is heat treated at the thermal decomposition temperature of an organic substance or lower. Also, a pretreatment process, with which an intermediate film is formed by heat-drying after dipping the sintered body into the solution having a functional group which chemically or physically interacts with organic vapor before a film is formed, may be used. |
