PURPOSE:To provide a document structure analyzer and a document structure analyzing method capable of efficiently setting up and correcting analytical rules necessary for the analysis of document structure and their hierarchical information. CONSTITUTION:The analyzer is constituted of a hierarchical structure correcting part 11 for correcting the hierarchical structure of structure analysis rules based upon correction information inputted from an input device, a rule data analyzing part 12 for analyzing the model data of the structure analysis rules inputted from the input device, a rule registering/correcting part 13 for executing the new registration/correction of the structure analytical rules based upon the analytial results of the analyzing part 12, and a document structure analyzing part 14 for analyzing the document structure by using the structure analysis rules. |
