PURPOSE:To construct an optical fiber wiring changeover device in a small size and enhance its reliability. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber wiring changeover device concerned comprises the first guide mechanism 1 equipped with a plurality of guide parts arranged in line, the first sliding member 2 to hold an optical fiber 5 while installed slidably along these guide parts, the first partition member 3 to isolate the surplus portion L of the optical fiber 5 in connection with the first sliding member 2 alongside the same guide parts, and the first driving means 4 to move the first sliding member 2 along the same guide parts; also a second guide mechanism 11 equipped with a plurality of guide parts in in-line arrangement intersecting the first guide parts, a second sliding member 12 to hold the optical fiber while installed slidably along the second guide parts, a second partition member 13 to isolate the surplus portion of the fiber in connection with the second sliding member 12 alongside the second guide parts, and a second driving means to move the second sliding member 12 along the second guide parts. |
