PURPOSE:To prevent a harmful effect caused by the adhesion of dust, etc., and heat generation in a fixed optical body and moving optical body. CONSTITUTION:A separate optical pickup 15 is composed of a fixed optical body 16 equipped with a laser diode 17, collimator lens 19, prism 20, etc., and of a moving optical body 25 equipped with a prism, objective lens 26, etc., and moving radially of an optical disk 11. The fixed optical body 16 is provided with a suction fan 22 having an air filter 21 and with a light-projection and air-outflow tubular part 23 to cause clean air to enter the fixed optical body 16 and to flow out of the tubular part 23 so that cleaning and cooling are performed while dust is prevented from entering. |
