PURPOSE:To provide a light wavelength selecting device for use in an optical communication network for separating therein a plurality of photo-signals having different wavelengths, wherein it is practicable to construct the device in a small size and is not likely to generate fluctuation in the characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The end face of an optical waveguide path 5 through which a plurality of photo-signals having different wavelengths are transmitted, is divided into a plurality of regions by straight lines, and each of a plurality of dielectric multi-layer film filters 6 having different selective wavelength is attached to each region including a core 51, and a plurality of photo-receiving elements 7 are installed as facing the respective segment regions through these filters 6, and thereby the photo-signals having different wavelength are separated. |
