<p>PURPOSE:To minimize number of operation keys in use and to activate the multi-function by providing a touch panel key entry section onto a display pattern and selecting a function display mode pattern representing the content of operation for each function so as to display the pattern onto a display screen. CONSTITUTION:A transmission signal is sent via a handset 10, a PCM CODEC section 11, a channel selection means 12, a layer section 13, a message RAM 9 and a reception signal is fed to the handset 10 via the layer section 13, the selection means 12, and the CODEC section 11. Then a display mode changeover means 4 reads display mode data having a required function from a display mode storage means 6 based on the function identification data from a CPU 3 and gives it to a display section T. Then a touch panel key entry section 1 is provided on a display screen of a telephone set main body and function keys F1-F4 to be selected are allocated to part of the entry section 1 and a desired function key is touched. Thus, the function display mode pattern is displayed on the display screen and the content required for the operation of the relevant function is displayed.</p> |
