<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the voice dialer able to retrieve an object word standard pattern in a short time even when a registered word is forgotten without need for designation of a user number. CONSTITUTION:A word recognition section 1 obtains a shortest matching distance WDk of a characteristic pattern of an input voice signal from a microphone 11. A talker recognition section 8 obtains a shortest matching distance SPk of a speaker characteristic pattern of the inputted voice signal similarly. When the shortest matching distance WDk is a threshold level TWD or over, the control section 7 confirms it that a word standard pattern relating to a speaker standard pattern representing the shortest matching distance SPk is an object word standard pattern. A voice analysis/synthesis section 3 generates an echo back sound of the confirmed word standard pattern. Thus, even when a name of a registered word is forgotten, the object word standard pattern is retrieved in a short time by having only to make any utterance without designation of the user number so as to limit the retrieval scope to the word standard pattern of the uttered user.</p> |
