PURPOSE:To provide an emptiness detecting device for a granular magnetic substance preventing a mulfunction by evading an arm side still sticking to a housing side. CONSTITUTION:An arm 27 whose magnets 12 and 13 provided in the vicinities of both end parts, form constant loci, respectively, by making the right and left moments different, by using a supporting point provided outside a housing 26 as the center of rotation, is arranged so that the magnet 12 of the side of a small moment operates a reed switch 17 provided outside the housing 26, and the magnet 13 of the side of a large moment reacts on magnetic toner 2 inside the housing 26 and is attracted, and simultaneously, a projecting part 28 is provided, at least, on one side on the contact surface of the side of the housing 26 with the side of the arm 27. |
