PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction even at the time of impressing a signal whose potential is lower than the potential of an integrated circuit substrate to an input terminal by providing a potential adjusting means on an input circuit part, and adjusting the potential of an outside input signal so as to be higher than the potential level of the integrated circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION:A clipping circuit 8 is provided on the prestage of the input circuit 9 of an input circuit part 7. The clipping circuit 8 is constituted of a differential amplifier which differentially inputs a signal inputted through input part resistors 5 and 6, and a resistance constituting the pertinent amplifier, and the input part resistors 5 and 6 are adjusted in order to shift the DC levels of the signals at C and D points so that the potentials of input terminals 3 and 4 can not be lower than the substrate potential. That is, the potential level of the signal transmitted from a transmission path 2 is shifted so as to be higher than the substrate potential. Therefore, the signal whose potential is higher than the substrate potential is inputted to the input circuit. Thus, the malfunction can be prevented even when the signal whose potential is lower than the substrate potential is inputted to the integrated circuit device. |
