PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic motor of high quietness by suppressing noise generated from a spring member. CONSTITUTION:In an ultrasonic motor 41 provided with a column-shaped stator 50 having a longitudinal vibrator 16 and a torsional vibrator 20 and a rotor 26 in pressure contact with the front part of the stator 50 by the pressing force of a spring member 42, a silencer 44 is provided to cover the spring member 42. In this way, noise from the spring member, which is a source of noise, is prevented from leaking to the outside, so that the motor is quiet with smaller operation noise. |
