PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a wound core and a laminated core, which are low in iron loss, by a method wherein a non-oriented electromagnetic steel plate is used as a starting material. CONSTITUTION:A non-oriented electromagnetic steel plate is used as a starting material and after an insulating film on this material is removed, a rolling, a recrystallization annealing and a coating of an insulating film are performed on the material and a non-oriented electromagnetic foil strip is formed. This strip is processed into a wound core or this strip is processed into a laminated core. For example, a non-oriented electromagnetic steel plate of a plate thickness of 0.50mm is used as a starting material and after an insulating film on this material is removed, a rolling, a recrystallization annealing and a coating of an insulating film are performed on the material to form a foil strip of a plate thickness of 50mm and the iron loss of a wound core obtainable by processing the foil strip can obtain magnetic characteristics those of the non- oriented electromagnetic foil strip at equivalent to 1W/Kg. Accordingly, it becomes possible to manufacture a wound core and a laminated core, which are lower in cost and are superior in magnetic characteristics. |
