PURPOSE:To eliminate optical adjustment to make easier manufacture of an apparatus and also improve recording density by irradiating an optical spot for verification after the spot for recording and then reproducing a recorded information from the reflected light beam. CONSTITUTION:This optical reproducing apparatus realizes reproducing of information using a reflected light beam of an optical spot 5-3 deviated backward from the central light spot 5-1 for recording through a reproducing optical system. Therefore, mixture of old information element can be prevented and recorded information element can be reproduced with high accuracy. In this case, comparison between reproduced signal obtained and recorded information signal enables discriminating whether information magnetic domain in the correct magnetizing direction is recording or not in the reproducing layer. Therefore, defects such as flaw on a magneto-optical disk or adhesion of dust can be eliminated and the accurate verification such as that after the recording can be realized. |
