PURPOSE:To easily decolor a toner in a process for recovering used paper by using synthetic resin particles as the toner having a specified particle size which are dyed at the temp. higher than the glass transition point and lower than the softening point. CONSTITUTION:This toner is produced by dying synthetic resin particles having specified particle size with a dye which can be decolored with alkali. The resin particles are dyed at the temp. higher than the glass transition point and lower than the softening point of the resin. The dye which can be decolored with alkali uses a compd. expressed by formula. In the formula, A is 5-nitro-2- aminothiazol diazo component residue or 3,5-dinitro-2-aminothiophenediazo component residue which may be substd., and B is an aniline coupler residue which may be substd. The dye which can be decolored with alkali is such a dye that is easily decomposed into coloress with an aq. soln. of alkali hydroxide such as sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide or carbonate such as sodium carbonate. |
