PURPOSE:To provide proper display intensity regardless of the ambient brightness by controlling the power voltage with the signal of an intensity control light sensor, and automatically controlling the intensity of a liquid crystal indicator. CONSTITUTION:The ambient brightness is detected by a light sensor 12 and amplified by an amplifier 13, then the signal is fed to a back-light power supply 14, and the intensity of a liquid crystal indicator 10 is controlled by the voltage corresponding to the ambient brightness. The control signal is numerically calculated by a digital controller 11, and it is displayed on the liquid crystal indicator 10 via the fluid molecular orientation by the field intensity. The brightness of the liquid crystal indicator 10 can be automatically set to the intensity easy to see against the ambient brightness. |
