<p>PURPOSE:To enable optimum tracking positioning in terms of both audio and video equipment by controlling a rotary phase of a rotary drum and a capstan based on a head change-over signal and a reference signal and thereby performing tracking positioning. CONSTITUTION:A video signal, which is FM-modulated and recorded, is into a reproduction video signal level detection circuit 3 by way of an input terminal In 1 while it is amplified, detected and integrated in the circuit 3 so as to obtain a DC voltage equivalent a reproduction video signal reproduced in a fixed time. This DC voltage is A/D converted with an A/D converter 5 and incorporated into a microcomputer 8, thereby allowing the microcomputer 8 to detect the reproduction video signal equivalent to the current tracking position. In that case, each video head, if it tries to adjust the tracking recorded with the same azimuth head all over a displaceable range, will provide an excellent reproduction image which is virtually free of noise bars.</p> |
