<p>PURPOSE:To provide a conducting device by which the abrasion of an electrode is suppressed and the life thereof is drastically improved. CONSTITUTION:The conducting device for electrostatically charging the surface of a fixing roller 7 to be in the same polarity as toner with which a toner image is formed is used in an image forming device. The conducting device is provided with a disk-like electrode member 10 on a reception side, which is attached to the shaft part 9 of the fixing roller 7. An electrode member 12 on a supply side is brought into contact with the electrode member 10. The electrode member 12 has a Y-shaped plane form, and it is provided with a contact 12a on one side and a contact 12b on the other side. The member 12 is arranged so that the respective contacts 12a and 12b may be allowed to about on one surface of the member 10 with specified pressure and respective distances from the contacts 12a and 12b to the center of the rotation of the member 10 may be different.</p> |
