PURPOSE:To provide an equalizing function with high performance and low energy consumption even when received electric field intensity is considerably fluctuated by phasing in the case of digital mobile communication. CONSTITUTION:At the equipment provided with plural branches to respectively receive plural received waves transmitted from the same signal source and passed through different transmission lines and to detect the received signals and an adaptive equalizer 8 to adaptively equalize the received signals, a level detecting means 60 is provided to detect the received electric field intensity of the plural received waves, and the adaptive equalizer 8 is provided with a selective equalizing means to select one of the received signals of the plural branches and to adaptively equalize that signal and a synthetic equalizing means to syntheisze two received signals at least out of the received signals from the respective branches and to adaptively equalize those signals. Then, the level detecting means 60 instructs the adaptive equalizer 8 so as to select the received signals corresponding to the received electric field intensity of the received waves, and the adaptive equalizer 8 is provided with switching means 10-1 and 10-2 to switch the selective equalizing means and the synthetic equalizing means corresponding to the instruction from the level detecting means 60. |
