Construction using base blocks - uses blocks made from slightly compressible, fireproofed expanded plastics having PVC tube guides fitting in blind holes

Construction is obtained by the assembly of light expanded plastic blocks (1) which are slightly compressible and fireproofed. The block dimensions are equal to or greater than 2 metres in length (A) , 1 metre high (B) and 40 cm in width (C). The blocks are manufactured from polymer granules or polystyrene pre-expanded by heating, and welded together in a mould. The blocks are equipped with guides formed from PVC tube sections (2) with corresponding blind holes (3). The blocks are held together by peripheral webbing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides cheap and rapid construction of houses, industrial hangers, reservoirs etc and provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
