Assembly for parenteral vaccination of rabbit against enterotoxaemia (using a vaccine based on Clostridium spiroforme anatoxin) comprises an apparatus for jet admin., arranged for intradermal distribution, at one or more times, of individual doses of 0.2 ml vaccine. The appts. is connected to a feed system contg. the vaccine which (aa) includes an oily adjuvant and (b) provides a protective titre in the specified dose. Also new is a vaccine contg. the specified anatoxin in an oil adjuvant and having a protective titre in a 0.2ml dose. Pref. the appts. for admin. has a head with multiple ducts for simultaneous delivery of many jets which operate at a pressure of 90-100 bars. USE/ADVANTAGE - The method is used to deliver vaccine across the pinna of the ear. It makes possible effective adn economical vaccination of rabbits on a large scale (300 animals can be vaccinated per hr.) with a very high probability of imparting protection.
