PURPOSE:To accurately detect a hit position by reducing the vibration detection error of a vibration sensor by providing a vibration transmitting medium in which a reception sensor is in point-contact with an operating plane and the vibration sensor fitted to the vibration transmitting medium. CONSTITUTION:A reception sensor 20 is provided with a corn-shaped vibration transmitting medium 21. This vibration transmitting medium 21 is composed of resin or the like having satisfactory vibration propagating characteristics. Then, the reception sensor 20 is fitted to a glass plate 10 in the state of touching the apex part of the vibration transmitting medium 21 to the surface of the glass plate 10 at an ideal position O. The vibrations generated by hitting the glass plate 10 reach through the surface and inside of the glass plate 10 to the ideal position O of the glass plate 10. The apex of the reception sensor is in point-contact with this ideal position O. The vibrations at the ideal position O are transmitted through this point-contact part to the vibration transmitting medium 21 of the reception sensor 20, passed through this medium 21 and transmitted to a vibration sensor 22a in a sensor assembly 22. |
