PURPOSE:To easily and precisely align a picture in a picture aligning device to align each picture so that plural pictures superpose each other. CONSTITUTION:The picture is displayed on a picture display means 2 based on the picture signal S of each picture, and each picture is converted into a simplified picture consisting of only the pictures in which the picture signal value of each picture exceeds a prescribed threshold by a converting means 4, and a triangle is displayed on the simplified picture by a polygon display means 5. Next, the apexes of the triangle of each picture are aligned to three feature points located at positions corresponding to each other on each simplified picture by using a moving means 6, a transforming means 7, a rotating means 8 and/or an enlarging and reducing means 9 as occasion demands. After that, alignment is executed so as to superpose these triangles. |
