CARRIER RECOVERY CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To provide the carrier recovery circuit which can perform the carrier recovery without making the frequency pull-in range of a phase locked loop larger then the frequency deviation between the carrier waves of received modulated signals and local signals. CONSTITUTION:A frequency deviation detecting circuit 10 prepares phase data corresponding to the frequency deviation between the carrier waves of the received modulated signals and the local signals from base band modulated date. By supplying this phase data to a phase generating circuit 15 inside a phase locked loop 9 by means of using an adder 17, since phase generating circuit 15 output instantaneous phase data corresponding to the frequency deviation between the carrier waves of the received modulated signals and the local signals, there by the carrier recovery can be performed without making the frequency pull-in range of the phase locked loop 9 larger than the frequency deviation between the carrier waves of the received modulated signals and the local signals.
