PURPOSE:To put a recording material such as a toner, heat sensitive recording paper or a heat transfer film to practical use as a recording material capable of color vanishment. CONSTITUTION:A recording material is formed by using a dye which fades when irradiated with light, utilizing the phenomenon that a precursor of a dye develops a color by contact with an acidic org. compd. and vanishes the color by contact with a basic org. compd., using a granular colorant surface- coated with a heat reversible material which can reversibly repeat a transparent state and a white (opaque) state and vanishing the color by the white (opaque) state, or using a material which is liable to sublime by heating as a dye and vanishing the color by sublimation. |
