PURPOSE:To facilitate the reduction of the installation space of enclosed switchboards by a method wherein the switchboards are installed back to back with each other and the respective switchboards have outdoor doors and an outdoor ceiling plate is provided on both switchboards in common. CONSTITUTION:Front-operation and front-maintenance type enclosed switchboards 11 and 12 are installed back to back with each other. An outdoor ceiling plate 13 covers both front and rear switchboards 11 and 12 in common to reduce the water-proof treatment positions of the junction between both switchboards 11 and 12. Further, the width of the outdoor ceiling plate 13 is 5-12 times the minimum switchboard width pitch and independent from the switchboard widths of the front and rear enclosed switchboards 11 and 12 to reduce the joint parts of the ceiling plate 13. With this constitution, the arrangement width of the outdoor enclosed switchboards 11 and 12 can be approximately halved and the installation space of the switchboards 11 and 12 can be reduced. |
