PURPOSE:To obtain a rare earth permanent magnet which is high in corrosion resistance, less deteriorated in magnetic characteristics with time, long in service life, and high in reliability by a method wherein the electrode contact point mark of a jig-type plating device imprinted on a rare earth-iron-boron permanent magnet is subjected to a brazing treatment. CONSTITUTION:A rare earth-iron-boron sintered permanent magnet is manufactured, where the surface of a sintered permanent magnet is subjected to a jig- type plating process, and then the contact point mark imprinted on the surface of the permanent magnet is treated by a brazing process for the formation of a corrosion-resistant rare earth permanent magnet. |
