PURPOSE:To surely detect only a genuine intruding object and to accurately track the object. CONSTITUTION:A differential value comparing part 20 detects the occurrence of intrusion by detecting the erasion of the image features in an intruding object emergeable range. Thus an intruding object detecting part 22 detects the area where the image features are erased and an area which is connected to the preceding area and has a big change as the intruding object areas. A matching processing part 26 detects the moving amount of the intruding object area when the precedent and next images are matched with each other. An intruding object area updating part 28 updates the intruding object model where the parallel and irregular moving parts of the intruding object are sorted with each other based on the moving amount obtained at the part 26. Then the moving amount of the time series images is successively detected by both parts 26 and 28 and at the same time the intruding object model is updated. In such a manner, the intruding object is tracked. |
