<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a hardware amount being increased by necessity for providing header conversion parts at two positions by providing the header conversion part only at one position. CONSTITUTION:A received packet inputted from an incoming line 21m is supplied through a FIFO memory part 22m to a packet copy part 23m and repeatedly copied several times as many as the number of outgoing lines 26m specified by the identification number. The packet obtained by this copy is supplied to a header conversion part 24m and switched by a packet exchange switch 25 after a header conversion processing is performed for distributing the packet to the outgoing lines 26m specified by the identification number.</p> |
