PURPOSE:To improve the quality and efficiency of machine translation for automatically executing translation processing between different languages. CONSTITUTION:An original sentence inputted from an input means 1 or that stored in an input storage part 2 is translated into the sentence of an objective language by a translation execution part 3. When the original sentence includes a forward reference word, the execution part 3 outputs a candidate translated word to be referred and its positional information. A translation control part 6 stores the output of the execution part 3 in a translated sentence information managing table 4 and display it also on a display part 5. A user determines a translated word from the candidata translated words to be referred displayed on the display part 5 through the input means 1. |
