<p>PURPOSE:To shorten copying time and to improve efficiency in copying by speedily aligning sheets in an intermediate tray. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine includes the intermediate tray T which receives sheets X and Y; a side-end regulating plate 4 provided on the intermediate tray T to align the sheets X and Y, received on the intermediate tray T, along their width; and a rear-end regulating plate 5 which is provided on the intermediate tray T to align the received sheets along their length and freely moves from a first position where the received sheets are aligned along the length to a second position where other sheets to be received next are aligned along their length.</p> |
