<p>PURPOSE:To monitor the performance of a radar device with varying size of a received signal depending upon whether there is a reflected wave from close distance by furnishing an attenuator between a circulator and a microwave transmitter or a mixer. CONSTITUTION:Microwaves from a microwave oscillator 1 are passed through a circulator 2 and released to the air from an antenna 3, and the reflected waves by any applicable object are entered to a signal processing circuit 7 upon passing through the circulator 2, a limiter 4, attenuator 5, and mixer 6. The attenuation amount of this attenuator 5 is zero normally to be increased to the level not saturating the mixer 6 only when the performance is to be checked. It is also acceptable that the output of the oscillator 1 is sunk instead. An output sensing circuit 13 senses the oscillative output of the oscillator 1. When object lies in front of the antenna 3 at a close distance, the output of the sensing circuit 13 and the output varying width of the mixer 6 are turned into numerals or a graph by the signal processing circuit 7 and displayed on an indicator 8 to serve for checking deterioration, etc., of the performance of the signal reception part.</p> |
