发明名称 CALCULATION PROCESSING METHOD FOR AREA, CENTER OF GRAVITY, AND PRINCIPAL AXIS OF INERTIA USING CHAIN CODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To directly perform the arithmetic processing of area/SIGMA calculation on the basis of only an outer periphery by performing branch processing by the combination of the chain code going in and out concerning to a pertinent picture element on the outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:The data of eight picture elements neighboring to the starting point of tracing is investigated counterclockwise (ST2), and a tracing direction value is determined and made to be the chain code (ST3). A case is classified into four kinds of the case that the pertinent picture element is the right end of a figure pattern to be traced, the case that it is the left end, the case that it is protruded by one picture element beyond the figure pattern, and the case other than these (ST5) in accordance with the combination of the chain code before and after the movement of the pertinent picture element (ST4). Prescribed addition or subtraction operation is executed at every classification (ST6). In the case that nothing is done, if one round of the tracing of the outer periphery of an objective picture for which nothing is done is finished (ST7), it is drawn out of the loop of the generation of the chain code. A center of gravity and a principal axis of inertia are calculated by using an area/SIGMA values obtained by the above-mentioned processing (ST9).
