PURPOSE:To prevent the communication error that is caused by the shift of an optical communication means and to improve the communication reliability by fixing two portable electronic equipments to each other while the optical communication is carried out between both electronic equipments. CONSTITUTION:A fixing device 26 serving as a positioning means consisting of a pair of a boss 23 and a cut hole 24 is set at a position where an optical communication means 18 set on a rear 104 of a main body 11 is never affected. A side guide 27 set in parallel to the side face of the body 11 serves as a guide means. Then a boss 23a of a 1st main body 11a is fitted into a hole 24b of a 2nd main body 11b together with a boss 23b of the body 11b fitted into a hole 24a of the body 11a respectively. Thus a 1st LED 21a is set opposite to a 2nd photodiode 22b and a 1st photodiode 22a is set opposite to a 2nd LED 21b respectively. In such a constitution, the side guides 27a and 27b of the bodies 11a and 11b function to control the side faces of the bodies 11b and 11a respectively. |
