The tuning capacitor 2 carries a disc 3 on its shaft having cam segments which operate switch contacts 1 which over appropriate parts of the tuning range connect a capacitor 4 across the premagnetizing/erase oscillator 5. The Specification envisages a number of alternative arrangements, e.g. switching an inductor, switching by means of D.C. controlled divides or relays, using D.C. controllable capacitors or inductors. |
