The cabinet for cooling bottled liquids in an insulated compartment has a heat exchanger (3) with ribs within which water from an auxiliary circuit is circulated at temperature of about zero degrees Centigrade. There is a ventilation element (4) arranged so that the air rotated by it is forced around the outer surface of the exchanger. A valve (5) regulates the amount of water flowing through the exchanger and a thermostat (6) is attached to the inside wall of the compartment to assist the regulation of air and water flows. The exchanger, valve and ventilator are held in a box (2) near the top of the compartment and water from condensation falling on the floor is led away to an outside container. ADVANTAGE - Inexpensive and simple refrigerator which does not uses chemical refrigerants.
