Electric arc welding process and equipment - has guided non-consumable electrode connected to welding current and second welding current terminal connected to workpiece and/or guided electrode via switching circuit
摘要
Electric arc welding process with a guided, non-consumable welding electrode, where the electrode is connected to a terminal of a welding current source and a counter electrode near the welding seam is connected to a second terminal of the welding current source. The required direction of the arc is controlled by the second terminal of the welding current source being connected to the workpiece and/or a guided electrode via a switching circuit. A filler metal wire is used as the guided electrode. The second weld current connection is switched from the workpiece to the guided electrode and vice versa, or is connected to the workpiece and also the guided electrode. Welding equipment according to the invention is covered by subsidiary claims. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for tungsten insert gas (TIG) or plasma (TP) welding in the non-dental field. The improved control of arc direction enables welding of complex workpiece areas.
