A laboratory waste disposal unit has a housing contg. a moble bin holding a removable collection flask, the novelty being that the bind is fitted in a closed container (12) which is divided by a peripheral joint (16) into an upper part (14), held stationary in the housing (11,13) and a mobile lower part (15), contg. the bin and designed as an independently moving carriage fitted with castors (27,28). Pref. the lower container part (15) has a front face (17), fitted with a handle (30) and a screen (29), and is mounted on a carriage frame (26) provided with an additional weight (31) at the rear end. The upper and lower container parts (14,15) are identical plastic boxes in contact along an inclined sealing joint (16). ADVANTAGE - The chemical waste disposal unit is simple to mfr. and easy to use.
