A video camera (1) is used to record the drive of a skier (4) between a start (5) and a destination (6). The video camera (1) keeps track of the skier (4). For that purpose, a marking spot (2) is generated on the skier (4) by means of an infra-red emitter and is tracked by the video camera (1). The recording is stored on a video cassette and may be viewed by means of a monitor (11) mounted at the destination. If desired, the video cassette may be put to sale. If the cassette is not sold, it is made ready for receiving a new recording. |
