<p>A holding tank system (10) suitable for storage of live fish, crustacea and other aquatic animals. There is included a holding tank assembly (12, 12A, 159) and transportable support means such as a skid base (11, 120) for supporting the holding tank assembly (12, 12A, 159) during transportation as well as installation. Thus at an installation site the holding tank assembly (12, 12A, 159) is installed with the skid base (11, 120) forming part of the holding tank system (10). There also may be provided a filter tank assembly (35, 35A, 134) as well as a housing (47) for water conditioning apparatus which may also be supported on the skid base (11, 120). Optionally the filter tank assembly (35, 35A, 134) may be supported on a separate skid base (11, 120) both for transportation and installation if required.</p> |
