<p>The invention relates to a device for drawing metal or metallo-plastic cans, particularly made of aluminium or alloys thereof. The device according to the invention is comprised of a housing (1) wherein circulates a lubricant (9), and is provided with an inlet (2) and an outlet (12) situated upstream of at least one of the drawing plates (3, 3A, 3B, 3C), the device being characterized in that, in each of the housings (1), there is provided immediately upstream of the plate an annular cylindro-conical, long and narrow prechamber (10) which is adjacent to the external surface (14) of the can (16) being drawn. The length (lo) of the prechamber (10) is preferably comprised between 3 and 50 mm and its thickness (jo) is comprised between 25 and 200 νm. The device provides for an easy extraction of the formed can, as well as for the drawing of alloys of the 5000 series, as well as reduced wall thickness.</p> |
