Rotating airlock for dosing material into pressure chamber

The material is dosed into the controlled pressure chamber by a rotating airlock with radial walls forming cells and sealed between two sealing plates (9). The edge of each sealing plate rubs over a sealing ring (13) in a recess groove (15) and with an elastomer ring (16) inside the groove to provide pressure for the seal.Two sets of seals are provided to form an enclosed area on the edge of the plate. This can be washed by a recirculating fluid system to keep the bearings clean.
