<p>A method of producing a substantially air-free container (1) filled with a product (2) is disclosed. The container comprises a tubular body portion (3) having two open ends, a bottom end-piece (5) and a pump dispenser (9) with a nozzle (10) and a non-return valve. The method comprises: i) fitting the bottom end-piece (5) to the tubular body portion (3) to form a semi-container; ii) filling the semi-container with the product (2) via its remaining open end; iii) fitting said pump dispenser (9) to said semi-container to form a sealed container, and iv) applying a vacuum source (12) to the nozzle (10) of the pump dispenser (9).</p> |
