[Also in Division G2] A method of making a transparency comprises producing, by an electrophotographic method, a thermoplastic toner image on a low adhesive sheet material, superposing a heat-resistant transparent sheet on the toner image and heating this ply so that the toner image melts, adheres to the transparent sheet and is fixed thereon. The low adhesive sheet material may be a paper, surface-treated with a silicone release agent or a low adhesive fluorine compound, and the transparent sheet may be a polyester, polyolefine or cellulose ester, p.v.c. or polystyrene. Heating may be by infra-red radiation, heated rollers or a hot air stream. |
