摘要 The temp. of the cylinder block (1a) is followed up by maintaining a certain temp. difference (DELTA T) to the temp. of the cylinder head (1b). A heat supply system (11) is provided driven by outside energy, esp. designed similar to a constant flow heater, which can be connected to a stationary electric current network. The heat circulation system (3), with the IC engine not yet operationally heated up, takes up heat from the heater (8) and gives priority to flow through the cylinder head (1b). The circulation entering directly in the cylinder head, essentially only acts on the engine inlet ducts (20,21) and their surroundings running in the cylinder head. ADVANTAGES - Improves starting of engine and optimises exhaust gas emissions. Improves fuel consumption.
