The invention proposes a means for forming an expansion joint in a floor covered with ceramic tiles, composed of a plastic angle profile (4), to be fastened on the floor side and formed from fastening and terminating legs (41, 43), and a second plastic profile (42) which is designed as a strip having clamping elements (6) on its outer side. The two profiles are connected by means of an upper soft-plastic bridge (7) which covers over the corresponding profile portions (3, 43) from the top. In the lower region there is a bridge (8) which is provided as a predetermined-breaking bridge or a support bridge which is connected only on one side. The means is used for forming an expansion joint in the connection region of the passage from a wall to a floor covered with ceramic tiles.
