The spring shackle is for a road vehicle. The side parts or housing side walls (18, 20), bearing eye (10) and receiving section or housing (16) are made as a single piece. The receiving section is formed merely as an open housing directed towards the leaf spring (14). The single piece body is made of plastics material and the gap between the eye and the housing is bridged by a bar (34). USE/ADVANTAGE - Single component spring shackle for vehicle requires fewer working sequences for mfr. and spring connection point is better protected against ingress of dirt.
